Who I Am

I’m Don W. Voorhies — a web and app developer, designer, and information communicator with 30+ years of experience creating digital solutions that connect technology, people, and purpose.

My work blends hands-on development, creative design, and strategic communication — from building web experiences and AI tools to leading development teams and teaching the next generation of digital professionals.

I hold a Cand.mag. in Information Science (with supplementary studies in Media Studies). Over 20 years in education and training, I’ve over the years taught 1,000+ pupils, students and course participants at Danish business academies, technical schools and as an external eduactor at CVU Sønderjylland as for the University of Aarhus too, specializing in web development, programming, digital concept development, and project management.

I’ve served as CTO at Kazboo ApS, leading multi-disciplinary development teams, and as COO (Chief AI Conductor) at Snilld ApS, I helped integrate generative AI into practical, human-centered solutions and laying the foundations for their offered courses.

Driven by curiosity and a love for clarity, I enjoy translating complex technology into meaningful user experiences — whether through AI-driven tools, web platforms, or educational initiatives that empower others to understand and use digital innovation.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about record collecting, (occasional) DJ’ing, and photography — creative outlets that keep my perspective grounded in both art and rhythm.
