Returning to ARP for monthly show
As peviously promised – announcement follows:
Since I’ve last had a regular slot on ARP Radio, life got in the way – sort of speak – with all sorts of behind-the-scenes BS, culminating in the demise of a 20-year career, a death of a marriage and a round of lengthy unemployment, almost all at once and simultaneously; events that ultimately had me pull the plug on a great number of activitites, while coming to terms with a number of then-occuring disappointments of various sorts.
Sadly one of the these activities, which I was forced to throw the off-switch on, was my then engagement with ARP Radio! ![]()
Now fast-forward to present-time:
Recently I was tapped on the shoulder and asked politely, if I was interested in (again) doing a regular show for – and on – ARP Radio!
Being that I’m – comparatively – in a better place than I was for a year or two ago, thus being in a surplus of all sorts at the moment, I gladly obliged!
Not only will the first slated show coincide with my birthday, it’ll also coincide with the 15th anniversary of the first set of the “dee3 | datamixes”-series got released!
So to come full-circle, this show’s working-title will be called after the first hand-full of (more or less) online-sets, which I made back in the day, called: “Could Be Live”, which is also an appropriate title for the show, IMHO!
But what can you expect to hear from my monthly two-hour slot on ARP Radio?
Well, apart from that I (almost) have carte-blanche and free hands to spin whatever I fancy, expect a (somewhat) similar build-up like the average “Compiling a Network”-set usually had: dubby to start with, followed by a swift kick in the balls over to more techno sounds (and anything and everything related in between, too)!
So remember: Every 3rd Saturday of the month from 7pm BST on ARP – https://arpradio.com/
Thanks goes to Sntax Arp for reactivating me and thanks to all for the rest of you for reading this…!
